    Hello YJI –
I am interested in becoming a YJI ambassador for Washington, DC. Currently, I’m an AmeriCorps Communications & Development VISTA volunteer living and working in DC for Maya Angelou Public Charter Schools, where we are in the process of initiating several multi-media programs, including a major documentary project.
I’m an internationally published photographer with several high-end clients, including Mohegan Sun house photograpgher, ESPN, Chicago Bear Report, etc..Have international experience through Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat Macedonia, Habitat Mozambique.
I’ve produce, directed and hosted public access radio and television programs and worked two feature motion pictures. All of my work has been directed at involving youths in various programs, including having one student reach Hollywood as a post-production manager.
Now working to try to initiate a junior journalist program here in DC schools. Please advise as to the probably and the process as well as how we can partner up for our youths here in the DC Charter schools.Thank you for your time and consideration

We ask people to be ambassadors for YJI after we know them and are sure they know enough about YJI to tell others about what we do. So even if Bob Woodward called tomorrow and asked, we’d probably say, “Bob, you can’t be an ambassador yet. But let’s talk.”
