Hello friends in Maine -- Don't miss the chance to see a rare 1776 printing of the Declaration of Independence on display through Saturday at Lewiston's amazing Maine MILL. Admission is free to the whole museum. And if you time your visit properly, you can catch YJI's forum at the museum at 1:30 p.m. Saturday which will focus on our new 'American Reflections' project that had students interviewing young immigrants to the state to find out their stories -- and connect them with the promise of our declaration. The stories are online now (link in comments). Hear on Saturday directly from some of those who did the interviewing and some who shared their experiences. The forum is also free. So come if you can! ...

If you can donate, it makes a difference! If you can't give, maybe share the fundraiser and say why you think YJI deserves support. <3 ...

Today marks the fourth anniversary of the brutal death of Masha Amini, the 22-year-old Iranian woman killed by the fascist 'morality' police in Iran. Her death sparked the Woman, Life, Freedom movement. At the time, YJI published four articles and several pieces of original art by students in Cyprus, Turkiye, Brazil, Bangladesh and the U.S. The pictures here have links in the comments to read the articles. Stop for a moment and remember all the brave women, girls, boys and men who lost their lives fighting back against the criminal regime. 🥲 #iran #womenlifefreedom #mashaamini ...
