YJI reporter Mehran Shamit of Toronto, Canada, took this shot of her sister Nashat on New Year’s Eve at Fantasy Fair, a Canadian amusement park.
“My mom went on every ride that I thought was scary and she made me go on those rides with her,” Mehran wrote.
