The Tattoo rocks — and you can, too!
In our new issue, join rookie Tattoo writer Luke Pearson at Opening Night of the new tour by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Luke takes you on stage in Hartford, talks to famed guitarist Nils Lofgren and finds the Magic in last week’s performance by Springsteen and the band.
But, naturally, that’s not all. Two other West Hartford, Conn. Tattoo writers, Wesley Saxena and Kiernan Majerus-Collins, provide a mooooooving account account of the Cow Parade that’s invaded their hometown.
And Bristol, Conn. Tattoo writer Rachel Glogowski gives a solid thumbs-up in her review of a new production of “Driving Miss Daisy” that’s currently showing at TheaterWorks in Hartford.
In case you missed it, The Tattoo also had a new edition last month of its terrific Insider’s Guide to High School series, featuring advice pieces by Kathryn Middleton, Carolyn Liu, Rachel Glogowski and Donicea Johnson, along with cartoons by Julia Reichard and Justin Skaradosky.
There are stories, reviews and more at www.ReadTheTattoo.com from as long ago as 1994 that are well worth exploring. Don’t hesitate to stay awhile looking around in our vast website and to savor what these talented teens have done.
We love to hear from readers so if you have tips, story ideas, constructive criticism or messages to pass on to our writers, please write to us at thetattoo@gmail.com.
If you know any teens with an interest in journalism, be sure to point them our way. We’re always looking for recruits.
