Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A. – Seeing Hamilton live for the first time at the Providence Performing Arts Center was absolutely incredible.

The second I walked in, I was blown away by the beauty of the theater. The gold detailing, the massive chandeliers, and the rich red velvet seats made the whole place feel so grand.
Even though I was seated more toward the back, I was surprised by how great the view was. The way the stage was set up and lit made it easy to see everything, and I never felt like I was missing out.
Just being there made the night feel special before the show even started.
The visuals and set were stunning, from the rotating stage to the lighting and costumes.
Since this was the first play I’ve ever seen in real life, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Hamilton completely blew me away.
The music, the performances, and the energy from the cast were next level. If I had to pick a favorite moment, Cabinet Battle #1 was easily the best part.

Watching Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson go at it in a full-on rap battle about the creation of a national bank was hilarious. Hamilton was so hysterical, and the way the actors played off each other made the whole scene feel alive.
And of course, I have to talk about King George III. Every time he stepped on stage, he completely stole the show. His exaggerated, almost cartoonish personality and his dramatic reactions to the American Revolution had the entire audience cracking up.
His over-the-top smugness was just chef’s kiss. It was impossible not to laugh.
Seeing this show was an unforgettable experience. The theater was stunning, the show was incredible. It was the perfect introduction to live theater for me. I already can’t wait to go back to see it again!
