Here's something interesting and not at all sad: a hand-drawn animated film called "The Glassworker" is being submitted by Pakistan for consideration at the 2025 Academy Awards. The film was a decade in the making and that in itself is an interesting story. Plus, writing the story and interviewing director Usman Riaz boosted Anya Farooqui to Reporter status at Youth Journalism International. (That is a Big Deal.)
