Kyiv, UKRAINE – As a Ukrainian person, I see Europe giving support for my motherland, and this is vital.
Listen to this article:
It shows that we’re not alone and that our fight matters beyond our country’s borders.
At the same time, softening of the United States stance on protecting Ukraine from Russia is a worry.
I and many Ukrainians are feeling anxious about all of this.
That is because any ceasefire can’t guarantee safety for civilians in the long term.
What is important for us is consistent action that proves Europe and the U.S. are committed to supporting Ukraine in the long run.
I hope this war will be over as soon as possible with minimal fatalities, so that Ukraine can rebuild and its people can live safely.
