A great YJI supporter, Vanessa Paolella, is far away from YJI HQ in Maine, where she was working as a reporter for the Sun Journal in Lewiston. This month, she is turning 25 from her home in Madagascar, where she is a volunteer with the Peace Corps. She wants to mark this milestone by raising money to help fund the next generation of journalists. We are grateful and also hope she has a great birthday with more cheese than she can eat in one day. "As a student who volunteers in my school library, I found it fascinating to discover the changes in the architecture and design of the libraries we visited during the Youth Journalism International Global Conference in Prague," wrote Gemma Christie in a thoughtful analysis, a tale of two libraries in the City of Spires, the gorgeous Baroque and the useful municipal.
