Mansoura, EGYPT – The new Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the first film about the superhero since the 2021 Spider-Man: No Way Home, immediately grabbed me.

From the first scene, actors Tom Holland, who played both Spider-Man and Peter Parker and Zendaya, who played MJ, felt so close to me. I felt like I was part of the story.

This movie gave me so much joy and the hope that Spider-Man’s story still has more to offer.

After No Way Home, I didn’t expect to see a well-made Spider-Man movie, but actually Brand New Day proved me wrong.

The movie idea of having a villain who the audience later realizes is not the true villain was great. It was an intelligent blot twist.

The movie also made all fans understand that Marvel’s Department of Damage Controlis not the good side of the story. They are actually the bad ones.

The movie had many fascinating scenes like the fight between Spider-Man, Hulk [Mark Ruffalo] and Sadie Sink [Jean Grey.]

And I loved the focus on Zendaya and Tom Holland’s personal life in the movie.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton also made a great job of using flashbacks to connect this movie’s story with previous ones.

I can’t say this film was as good as No Way Home but still it’s one of the most enjoyable movies I’ve watched recently. It’s worth checking out.
