DON’T think about how your teachers will be. They’re the least of your worries.
DON’T worry if you’re lost. Everybody gets lost on the first few days. Construction will change room numbers and classrooms everywhere.
DON’T even think about pulling an immature, adolescent prank. Stink bombs won’t immortalize you. Trust me.
DON’T come in thinking you rule the school. Save it for the upperclassmen. They deserve it more than you do.
DO make sure you use the buddy system. It might sound cheesy, but you’re safer from embarrassment in numbers.
DO make a good impression on your teachers. They’ll make or break you, quickly.
DO join a club or sport. It’ll give you friends with similar interests and also a mean-looking college application.
