Mansoura, EGYPT – As a Muslim, I didn’t know Pope Francis in a religious way. Instead, I know him from his amazing journey of giving and standing for international justice.
Pope Francis, who died today, was a leader of humanity.
Under his guidance, the Vatican offered support for many humanitarian missions not only for Christians but for humans, with no discrimination.
The Vatican had missions in many countries suffering with war, including Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq and others.
These humanitarian efforts made him a well-respected figure in the whole world for many Christians and non-Christians.
Pope Francis was also known for his wisdom and contributions in religious discussions that were meant to renounce violence and educate followers from all religions.
Today the world has lost Pope Francis, but his contributions will always be remembered.
