Cary, North Carolina, U.S.A. – By no doubt, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been a huge hit and a success for Marvel Studios.

Tom Holland gave an exemplary performance as the “friendly neighborhood Spider-Man” alongside Zendaya playing MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds.
Sadie Sink also joined the cast, playing the telepathic mutant character Jean Grey.
The film introduces her as a mysterious anti-hero, telepathically possessing various people across New York City. It is later revealed that she was trying to find her sister, who was taken by Damage Control, a company that inhumanely experimented on her.
Jean is the first of the X-Men, a superhero mutant group, to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
But as a fan who has watched nearly all X-Men cinema starting from the 1992 animated series, it feels as though her introduction in the Spider-Man film feels rather rushed.
The movie presented a unique friendship between Peter Parker and Jean Grey, but with the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film, featuring the X-Men, I couldn’t help but think that they were simply trying to push the idea of mutants out to audiences.
Despite this, Marvel Studios’ Jean Grey shows promise and room to grow. Hopefully, the new Jean will be able to live up to the legacy of her character.
