Kyungbok-koong Palace, South Korea – From January 28th to the 30th, it is Lunar New Year for most Asian countries.

In South Korea, “Lunar New Year” is usually called “Seollal,” or 설날.

South Koreans usually are excited for this holiday break, as many travelers disconnect with their lives and take time to chill.

A lot of South Koreans as well as foreigners go to traditional Korean palaces including 광화문, 창덕궁, or the Changdeokgung Palace in Gwanghwamun that dates to 1395, and many other tourist attractions.

This photo essay will also show images from a palace called Kyungbok-koong or “경복궁.”
