Jerusalem Roads Opening After Snowstorm

Roads in the Jerusalem area opened earlier today after being closed from a paralyzing snowstorm that blanketed parts of the Middle East.
The snow began Wednesday, causing road closures and some power outages. Though roads are reopening, it may be awhile before traffic returns to normal, since there are still vehicles stuck in the snow.
The snow, which stopped Sunday morning, reached 50 centimeters, or almost 20 inches, in some places.
The photos, all taken by Youth Journalism International photographer Erez Bittan on Thursday and Friday, show a view from the Jerusalem suburb of Mevaseret Zion.
