The Chewa chiefs from the three countries present their gifts to Kalonga, the head chief. The chiefs also reported their concerns from their respective areas. In this year’s ceremony, the Chewa head Chief Kalonga Gawa Undi advised Chewa people from Malawi, Zambia and Mozambique to live in harmony with other tribes and the presence of various chiefs invited from other tribes was an example of the Undi’s message. He also encouraged youth on education.
